Easy Earring Display

I have been having fun making cabochon flower, fabric rosette, and fabric button earrings.  Unfortunately I was running out of room in my jewelry box and on my wall jewelry earring hanger, that I already had made.  So, I went to the hardware store and bought this metal vent (I guess that’s what it is called).  I banged it up a bit with my hammer because I though it would look more interesting that way (of course you can skip that part if you like).  Then I spray painted it black, as well as a $1 store plate holder.  Supper easy, what took the longest was actually putting all my earrings on it.  I actually got tired, and have not finished that part yet.  The project is so easy you probably don’t need pics of the process.  Good thing too since I seem to have misplaced my (oops my husbands) memory card from his camera that had the pics on it.  Serious, I have no idea what I did with it.  I think my toddler hid it somewhere.   Here is a picture of that other jewelry organizer I made with burlap and a picture frame.  I love that with both of these organizers you can see what you have easily on hand.  Sometimes I forget what I have when everything is just tossed into one big jewelry box.
